- EFS: New Rule for Securitized Bonds

Applying the principles of disclosure, of the interests of prudential regulation and its cost to businesses, EFS recently drafted a rule that protects investors, facilitates multiple securitizations by a single issuer, and makes raising funds on the capital market cost efficient. The urgent request to assist in reviewing and finalizing the rule came in from the chairman of the Capital Market Authority and EFS was able to deliver within a week.

EFS^+39_s Registration technical team and counterpart representatives from the Ministry of JusticebackslashReal Estate Publicity Department, the Egyptian Survey Authority and the Ministry of State for Administrative Development, as well as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology participated in the "Land Registration in Arab Countries: Challenges and Ambitions" held in Jordan September 1-3, 2005. The event was organized by the Department of Lands and Survey in Jordan in collaboration with the Arab Federation of Surveyors and the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) Commission 7.
